Oh racism was obviously not a factor… at least last year’s GB entry and France’s this year’s did fairly well (both black as well).

this song was better than Gemini & Scooch’s entry, I knew wasn’t going win though

I’m surprised how often Britain sends the most worthless piece of crap to ESC… This one is actually pretty good, but this is the ONLY song from GB which I think is not completely bullshit!

Last, yes where it belonged. It was so bad the embarrassing entries that don’t have any ambition to win finished above it.

This wouldve done better if he was from serbia/bosnia/armenia/slovenia/albania/romania and had a different skin color. It is a bit bland. Bland songs don’t win votes. Something crazy and horny bitches does.

Actually I don’t think this sounds as bad as it did back then. Still not a musical masterpiece but bearable.

This performance was embarrassing. He doesn’t command the stage, the song’s dated (not to mention bland) and he can’t reach the low notes properly.

not a bad song but the fact that it flopped in the uk top 40 also reveals what the uk public really thought of it.

instead of voting and doing this “nation needs you” rubbish and employing that blond ladies man just send spandau ballet out then we may win

I agree we were robbed by Johny foreigner. That song was miles better than any of the crap we sent the previous last couple of years. A pathetic contest that beggers belief that anybody takes it seriously which sadly they do.

I think the female back-up singer on guitar was also the back-up singer for Spandau Ballet while they were on tour :O Love this song btw! I voted for you! :D
